Clubs to Visit:______________________________________
  • Contact Group Leader and ask what they would like you to talk about, if they do not know give the leader some options.
  • Find out the meeting place time and age range of the group (this is really important so you can tailor your presentation to the kids).
  • Have a copy of the survey and evaluation for all members and leaders.
  • Plan ahead: plan out your presentation and have an activity to start and an extra one just in case.
  • A couple days before the meeting call the leader and remind them you are coming.
  • Some topics for you to present are: -youth leadership ideas/options ( helping with a fair dept., teaching project discovery days, overnight/day camp, Leader's Board Youth Director, State Conference Helper)
    -Older Youth Fun Options (Older Youth Weekend)
    -Music/Drama/Speaking/Lip Sync Festivals/Contests
    -trips/ME forms
    -record books
    -portfolios
    -county activities
    -becoming an ambassador
    -state activities
    -project discovery days
    -avian/horse bowl
