4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

What is 4-H?:
 4-H is a family affair where youth and adults get together to learn new things, meet new friends and have fun. It is a way to extend a loving hand in our community and to future generations. The purpose of 4-H is to provide real life experiences for youth through a fun and practical, learn-by-doing, educational program and to provide opportunities for adults to work with youth in their development.
Who Can Belong?:
4-H is for all boys and girls in grades K - 13, (one year out of high school). Wherever you live, rural or town, 4-H has something for you. Boys and girls in Kindergarten through 2nd grade participate in 4-H as Cloverbuds and are able to participate in most activities. Older youth and adults volunteer as leaders to plan and conduct meetings, projects and activities. As leaders they guide members as they learn new skills in 4-H. Adult volunteers complete a youth protection process, which includes a background check and orientation session.
What Can You Do?:
4-H offers youth a variety of activities which starts at a local level, and has the potential to rise to a national level. This involvement is not only beneficial to the individual, but it increases the community awareness of the contributions youth have to offer society. Some projects that might be of interest are:
