Clothing, Knitting and Crocheting Revue

 

Do you have an eye for design?  Is your fashion sense more sensible (or fashionable) than others?  Do you TIVO Project Runway?  Then the Clothing, Knitting and Crocheting Revue is for you!

The Clothing, Knitting and Crochetting Revue is part of the Lincoln County 4-H fair.  Please read the Clothing, Knitting and Crochetting Revue Guidelines and check out the Fair Premium Book (on-line copy here) for complete details.  You can also review the Rating Sheets in order to understand what the judges will be looking for.  You will also need to fill out a Clothing Revue Information sheet for each item entered.

 

If you have never participated, there are video tapes of past contests for you to view.

Revue Guidelines:

  • Open to all youth members of recognized youth organizations enrolled in the clothing, knitting and crocheting projects.
  • Currently held in June durning the fair.
  • Premiums are paid on all entries, as per the Fair Exhibitor’s Handbook.
  • The best two entries may receive a Best of Show ribbon and can participate at the Wisconsin State Fair (applies only to those in grade 8 and over) at the judge's discretion. The judge may also choose to award two honorable mention ribbons and designate these participants as first and second alternates to attend State Fair.
  • Best of Show and an Honorable Mention ribbon may also be given to outstanding entries in grade 7 and under group at the judge's discretion.
  • A chaperon is required to attend State Fair with delegates. Leaders' Association pay round-trip mileage for car pooling and registration fee to the driver.
