4-H’ers Showcase Dramatic Talents

Lincoln County 4-Hers were transformed into animals, carnival operators, a detective, game show host and many other characters, Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at St. John’s School in Merrill for this year’s Lincoln County 4-H Drama Festival.  Vince Geisler and Nancy Koehler, judged four creative, educational and entertaining plays.  The festival was planned and coordinated by the Pine River Peppers 4-H Club and emceed by Erin Riddle, Steven Roets, and Cassie Timm, Lincoln County 4-H Ambassadors.

By participating in the Drama Festival, youth have the opportunity to develop, strengthen and expand their skills and interest in theater arts.  Youth also develop self-confidence in their abilities to perform in front of an audience in a safe and friendly environment.  Most importantly, is the fun and friendships youth form while planning, practicing and performing their plays.

4-H is open to all youth in grade Kindergarten through 13 (one year after high school graduation), regardless of where you live.  For more information about joining 4-H, contact the Lincoln County UW-Extension office at 539-1072 or visit our website at www.lincolncounty4h.com.
